XOAN SÁNCHEZ

ESMUC - XOAN SÁNCHEZ, a percussionist and composer established in Barcelona, presents his first personal work, where he performs rhythmic meetings between Afro-Cuban music and flamenco, all enveloped by fresh, modern harmonies with jazz as a connecting point that are a starting point for a journey towards a new terrain to be explored. The beautiful voices of singer-songwriters Pere Martínez and Cristina López, contrasting with the majestic Cuban voice of Yadira Ferrer put the cherry on top.
