MICHELLE SHOCKED débuted in 1986 with The Texas Campfire Tapes, a pirate recording by cassette recorder around a bonfire at a festival, which reached number one on the UK indie charts. The song "Anchorage" also entered the Billboard Top 100. Since then she has recorded a dozen albums and lives in Los Angeles. LACH is the founder of the anti-folk movement and is currently presenting The Lach Chronicles on BBC Radio 4. Both artists have been nominated for Grammy awards.
