MANEL

After a hundred concerts, MANEL is arriving at the main square in Vic to defend his third album live, Atletes, baixin de l’escenari (Warner Music, 2013), the most astounding gold album in the history of pop sung in Catalan, with two weeks at number one in the charts in Spain and continued presence in the Top 100 throughout 2013 and part of 2014. Pivoting between folk, pop, and even rock, the Barcelona quartet proposed a small stylistic change that has been completely consolidated throughout the course of the tour which began in the Primavera Sound, and has taken them to Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, England and the United States, and from Vigo to Granada - practically all over Spain. Another record for a band that never tires of making history.
