Let’s make things clear from the start: 17 HIPPIES are currently twelve musicians and not seventeen, and only a number have let their hair down below their collars. Despite this, they make up for their lack of hippy style and looks with brilliant, transcontinental sound. The result is perfect sound, consistent, crafted over fifteen years and more than two thousand concerts. This time they are presenting their eleventh album, Biester (Hipster Records / Soulfood, 2014), in which they convey an unmistakable style that demonstrates that, without losing sight of their origins, they are in constant movement, open, and changing in accord with the beat of our times.
