Dream meets reality when THE MARZIPAN MAN climbs on stage and when we listen to his records: a collection of children's stories for adults, adult's stories for children, animal stories for people and stories for animals. On his second album, The Marzipan Man Adventures (Primeros Pasitos 2011), we find a collection of orchestral bedroom pop songs, popular song from the Country of Never More, and dream folk with large amounts of piped music drawing on the psychedelia of Syd Barrett or Kevin Ayers, glam-rock with touches of folk from T. Rex, autumn atmospheres of Nick Drake and fantasy worlds of Lewis Carroll.
