RAFA XAMBÓ

RAFA XAMBÓ played all over the Catalan Countries with his own repertoire and in 1974 won the Premi Noves Veus de Sabadell prize. He retuned years later, in 2002, with 7 acústics (PM produccions) and a year later, Dies oberts (Cambra Records, 2003). In 2006 he released Cançons de la memòria trista (Picap), the Ovidi Montllor prize for the best singer-songwriter record of 2007, with which he began his collaboration with the musician and producer Albert Ortega (Bertomeu). He has now produced "Andanes" (Picap, 2010) with the same producer, a record that shows the more intimate XAMBÓ without setting aside his critical vision.
