Laia Prat likes to compose and sing. Last summer she started the ELAPE project and recorded five songs, including “El ramat”, which she feels is a letter of introduction. The singer from Maresme - who lives in Embonui, in Pallars Sobirà, where she works at the Parc de Bombers - admits that she is learning and evolving, with more enthusiasm than resources, and that for the moment she doesn't want to compartmentalise herself in any particular style. ‘Gas to failure with no fear of success’ is a defining motto for the ideology of an artist who believes that each song is a world unto itself: “The lyrics always come first, and music makes me think, listen, dance or laugh”.
