SONAKAY

SONAKAY is a flamenco group with strong roots, both Basque and gypsy. Musicians with tradition who in 2015 came together to ‘patent’ a new style in Basque music, presenting a fusion marked by a flamenco calé that elegantly envelops authentic legends of musical composition in Basque. This exclusive style materialized in their first album, Sonakay Denontzat (No CD Rekords, 2018), which includes well-known versions as well as their own songs.
