OFF MERCATESMUC - Corrrrrrrpus make their début as the result of research work born from two interests: music with roots in Valencia and popular Afro-Latin music. It is a pioneering and unprecedented work where the dances of the Corpus Christi, the emblematic festivity of Valencia, are the leitmotiv of an honest, courageous and daring proposal. This project unashamedly brings to the fore a need that, though evident, sometimes goes unnoticed: that tradition is constantly reinventing itself.
