DE LA PURISSIMA
DE LA PURÍSSIMA is a project of Julia de Castro (vocals and lyrics) and Miguel Rodrigáñez (bass and music), with which they offer us their own personal reading of a genre as unexpected as the couplet, steeped in jazz and pop and connected with Neapolitan song. Innovation –or the result of the sum of tradition and transgression–, accurate production, a sense of humour and provocation are all hallmarks. Artists like Lilian de Celis and Raquel Meller, as well as la Chelito, la Fornarina, la Bella Otero or la Cachavera form part of their collective imagination.
