LA VELLA DIXIELAND
LA VELLA DIXIELAND will be celebrating 30 years in 2010 and so will present their family concerts and auditions for scholars of L’aventura del Jazz (The adventure of Jazz) to the MMVV. The word ‘jazz’ nowadays is already known to everybody, but an infinity of musical styles are found going under this name. The fact that it is a familiar name does not mean a clear idea exists about this music. With L’aventura del Jazz, LA VELLA DIXIELAND proposes a journey to you through one of the fundamental musics of modern time and without which we could not understand current music.
