THE NEW CATALAN ENSEMBLE & ANDREA MOTIS & JOAN CHAMORRO

THE NEW CATALAN ENSEMBLE is a stable ensemble that was born with the will to incorporate the sound of traditional Catalan instruments in other music areas, based on fusion as a means of artistic expression. Musicians from different styles and origins bring their respective languages closer in an exercise that, in the presentation of their project, adds the talent of the young singer and multi-instrumentalist ANDREA MOTIS to that of saxophonist and double bassist JOAN CHAMORRO. The repertoire: songs from recognized poems of Catalan authors and standards from the most classical jazz tradition.
