WE ARE STANDARD

WE ARE STANDARD are from Getxo. After two rock albums with a distinct dance air and their respective albums of remixes, they published Great State last year, a mini-album of five songs that gives out atmospheres of Manchester. They say it is like a rave with guitars, dance-floor breaker rhythms and riffs with a classic flavour, timeless melodies and arrangements they multiply by a thousand, presented live with horn section and gospel choirs. They have also been published in the UK, where media like Q Magazine, The Guardian, Metro or Nylon point to them as leaders of the new Spanish pop scene.
