RAPH DUMAS AND THE PRIMAVERAS

The Jazz spirit of Ode to Tanguy Jo (Discmedi, 2009), the first discographical work of RAPH DUMAS & THE PRIMAVERAS, is impregnated with the atmosphere of New Orleans, as if it were part of a dream of Janko Nilovic’s, in which we would stroll through Louisiana in the early seventies. RAPH DUMAS & THE PRIMAVERAS are nourished at the same time by groove roots and some ancestral sonorities, thus creating a mix of jazz, funk, soul, and electronic expression.
