MATTHIEU SAGLIO

The French violoncellist MATTHIEU SAGLIO presents his new violoncello show, CELLO SOLO that combines the classical tradition with sounds and rhythms from around the world. Echoes resound of western cathedrals and the souks of the Maghreb, of Latin American tango and Iberian flamenco. The magic of the sampler is added allowing him to record live, as if several violoncellos were being played. He is accompanied on stage by the unmistakable voice of the radio presenter Emilio Garrido with texts from his novel Aire de fuga (Efecto Violeta Ediciones, 2009).
