MANEL FORTIA

 The double bass player MANEL FORTIÀ is in a very prolific moment. His melodic sense, rhythmic precision and creativity have made him one of the most outstanding and original musicians of the new generation. Now he also presents his facet as a composer with his new album, Despertar (Microscopi, 2022), where he offers a musical self-portrait based on a selection of energetic originals, all inspired by his experiences of living in New York.
