JOANA SERRAT & The Great Canyoners

Singer-songwriter JOANNA SERRAT’s fifth album Hard core from the heart (Great Canyon Records, 2021), makes use of sexologist Annie Sprinkle’s book of the same title to carry out an introspective journey that, using her lyrics and music, confronts the Osona woman with a reflection of herself; with an image made up of chiaroscuros. A moving, even painful album, that captures the listener from start to finish and takes them on a journey of atonement. A work which at each new listening discovers nuances and shows JOANA SERRAT’s best performance to date.
