THE BOP COLLECTIVE

THE BOP COLLECTIVE is an octet influenced by the jazz tradition and all of them have grown musically in the hands of Broadway, swing and bebop standards. In this group they show a new vision of jazz music based on the combination of these influences, with new rhythms and modulations. The repertoire is made up of original music and arrangements with melodies deeply rooted in song. With their second album, Iaspis (The Changes, 2019), the octet have acquired a specific and distinctive musical direction.
