JOSÉ LUIS GUTIÉRREZ IBERJAZZ QUARTET

Surprise is a constant element in the music of JOSE LUIS GUTIERREZ, an innate contemporary artist, one of the few musicians still able to have a different musical concept. GUTIERREZ is a sound poet, an equilibrist between tradition and modernity. He has directed his projects on four continents, and played with Chano Dominguez, Jerry Gonzalez, Paquito D'Rivera, Jorge Pardo, Horacio 'El Negro' ... He is artistic Director of the Festival internacional Universijazz and has won several awards for best jazz album in Spain with Núcleo (Fresh Sound New Talent).
