With a career of over 30 years, BRATSCH’s repertoire is inspired by a wide collection of songs and traditional melodies from different Central European countries and certain places in the Mediterranean which they re-elaborate and make theirs, merging them with other sounds from the individual musical experiences of each of the members. Their proposal fuses different music -gypsy, Jewish, Armenian and Greek, with touches of jazz and Neapolitan aromas, or the gipsy-jazz of Django Reinhardt-, that they interpret with a special festive air and in a universal language singing the songs in the typical languages of the European regions where they were conceived (from Armenian to Yiddish by way of Romanian or French). This year BRATSCH are publishing the CD Urban Bratsch (Niglo) that will pay homage to the cities that have influenced the group from their beginning: Odessa, Thessaloníki, Paris, Budapest, Berlin, Lisbon, Barcelona...
